My dear friend and photography pal Laurel came across this wonderful house full of Christmas lights in Melrose Florida. So on Christmas eve, we grabbed our cameras and headed out just before dark for some fun in the twilight. You can read more about our little side trip at Laurel’s blog here and here. The home owner has been collecting Chistmas lights and doing this for the past 17 years - it takes him 2 months to put up all the lights! I had a fun time photographing the kids from the Healthy Learning Academy for the Gainesville Magazine. I was really impressed with the children and the schools curriculum. They teach  subjects ranging from yoga to pin-pushing shapes to promote dexterity in cursive hand writing. I wish my nephews had lived closer as I would have sent them to this hip, healthy school.

I finished this tour for a new client, United Country Ocala Realty Florida. It was a great shoot. The property is beautiful and the owner, who is also the broker, did a great job staging the home. (take a look at the master bathroom picture and notice the wine glass, book, & bubble bath - we even staged the horse shot) It is rare for me to get this type of great staging on a real estate shoot - a real joy!
