10 Favorite images from residential shoots in 2006
Here are 10 of my favorite images from my 2006 residential shoots. I chose these images based on their artistic challenges in exposure, lighting and compositon.
For example, I really love #7 because of the overal complexity and depth of the image. The final image required four photographs; an exposure taken for the outside, and three bracketed for the interior.
I am also very fond of #3 because it shows even a small room can be elegantly photographed. In #4 I learned I could shoot into the sun with a polarizer and three bracketed images for some amazing results.
I am also very happy with the results of #2. This was photographed on a very bleak and dreary day. I assured my client that I could produce an image that would negate the necessity of drivng an hour and a half for a reshoot.
It’s been a wondful year. I really love what I do and am very excited about 2007 - Happy New Year!
